St Canice Feast Day 2019
On our Feast Day of St Canice, Bishop Terry recalled the Irish roots of this parish and urged all of us here at St Canice’s to better understand the story of this sixth century patron saint told in part in the nearly century-old beautiful stained glass windows behind the main altar.
Bishop Terry Brady officially installs new Parish Priest
On the Feast Day of St Canice, Bishop Terry Brady officiates at our 10.30 am Mass and installs Fr Paul Fyfe as our parish priest. In welcoming Fr Paul to St Canice’s KingsCross Sydney, Bishop Terry also acknowledges other leaders in the parish community, and thanks the Jesuits for all they do in this very special Sydney parish.

20th Anniversary of David’s Place
A peaceful sanctuary within the constant activity of “the Cross” David’s Place at St Canice’s KingsCross Sydney Jesuit Parish, has for 20 years been a place of prayer, reflection and community for the homeless of inner Sydney.
