Jesuit Mission Thanksgiving Mass

Fr Brian McCoy, Australian Provincial of the Jesuits, and Fr Trung H. Nguyen Rector of Jesuit Mission listen to Helen, CEO acknowledge all the fundraising efforts that combined to make a record year for money that goes to support the wide range of works of the Mission in Asia and Africa.

 
 

The caring and generous St Canice parishioners and their friends were recognised tonight at the Thanksgiving function at Saint Aloysius College.

Thank you all for your the ongoing support for the Jesuit Railaco Mission in East Timor.

The Provincial of the Australian Jesuits, Fr. Brian McCoy celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass in the chapel of St Aloysius College, With Fr Trung and Fr Ross Jones. The Mass was made all the more joyful with the singing of a large choir of parents and friends of St Mary’s parish.

Celebrations of the more earthly kind continued on the rooftop terrace of the College that affords such wonderful views of Sydney Cove, with Bridge, Opera House illuminated by the setting sun.

Sharing a drink on the rooftop terrace at St Aloysius College Milson’s Point this evening, Clare Bear and Michael Musgrave from St Canice’s KingsCross Sydney take time out to chat with CEO of Jesuit Mission, Helen Forde about next year’s plans for the support of Railaco Mission.
